John Feldewert brings a comprehensive level of expertise to the Ridgeside K9 Nashville team. Having earned professional training certifications from two reputable training institutions, John is highly skilled in a variety of disciplines, including tracking, detection, competition obedience, and behavior modification, with particular experience in addressing reactivity and canine aggression.
As a certified decoy with the Protection Sports Association, John competes regularly across the United States, working with both his own dogs and serving as a decoy for others.
His primary passion lies in engaging with the public to share his knowledge of canine behaviors, assisting pet owners in understanding their dogs better and fostering stronger bonds. With over six years of professional dog training experience—building upon his early years of training and working with hunting dogs alongside his father—John and his fiancé are actively involved in volunteering at various sporting and canine events. He enjoys helping to educate and guide others on their training journeys.
